Mary Yates is a fine artist that deals with photographic imagery in historic process, digital images and video. She has been an exhibiting artist since 1989 and continues to show work locally and nationally. Mary recently completed work on her Masters of Art at the University of Louisville, where she combined her love for historic photographic process with digital imageing techniques. She is the recipient of numerous grants and awards including awards from The Kentucky Foundation for Women, The Artist Bill Fischer and The Kentucky Arts Council. Mary is currently working on a project titled “Bathtub Mary”.
